Godel, Escher and Bach? Read it back in college (my discrete math teacher was a fan of Hofstadter) and it really got me into computability theory and such. Amazing book.
Yes, but also Metamagical Themas, amazing book too! I was chuckling with excitement while reading it, my wife thought I was crazy. It's a delightful book by all means.
